Goose Creek CISD

The Client

Just outside of Houston, Texas, Goose Creek CISD is home to more than 20,000 pre-K through 12th grade students. By adding several new early childhood academies, the district was looking to grow its reach and become an innovator and pioneer in the region.

The Need

Goose Creek CISD was constructing three new early learning academies with a focus on experiential learning. The district wanted to embrace play-based education by creating unique environments that encouraged childhood development through communication, vocabulary, and hands-on experiences.

The Solution

Exploration Zones by Exhibit Concepts® partnered with architects, general contractors, and curriculum specialists for the expansive project. The new academies included 40 permanent, themed classrooms that would immerse children in a multitude of educational environments. The unique experiential approach to early childhood learning set Goose Creek CISD’s program apart from others in the area.
